Investing in community is at the heart of The Salvation Army Southern California's 33 Community Centers, or Corps. These Corps serve as important resources and centers of worship in a number of communities, and reflect the unique needs and character of the people they minister to. Corps social service programs also vary according to the needs of the community they serve. Many feature food pantries, rental and utility assistance, as well as case management support for families in distress.
Dinners will be held both on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day at various Salvation Army locations throughout the Southland.
