The Clippers Foundation is partnering with Feed The Children to provide 800 South Los Angeles families with food, through The Salvation Army's Siemon Family Youth & Community Center. Two large Feed The Children trucks will be on-site to deliver the food boxes. An additional 800 families will be provided with food through our Bell Shelter warehouse.
The partnering organizations hope to make a difference in the lives of children and families where hunger and need are daily realities. The families that benefit from this special day are selected from a variety of different community organizations, but primarily from The Salvation Army.
Additional VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to work with clients directly and help move boxes of food. Volunteers must arrive by 9:30am for registration, orientation, assignment of duties, and an event walk through.
The Siemon Youth & Community Center is located at 7651 S. Central Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90001.
