The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
Many people who are facing difficult times come to us for help. During the past year, hundreds have come for the first time ever after losing homes, jobs and security. Hope radiates throughout the Salvation Army's programs. Clients, staff and volunteers collaborate to instill change throughout the community, creating hope for a brighter future. Through the generosity of this community, we have become a center of hope for those who need it most.
Christmas Angel Registration
Registration for the 2013 Christmas Angel Program will take place in October and November. Please see the downloadable flyers at the bottom of this page for information on dates, times, and locations for your zip code, as well as eligibility guidelines. Registration will be done on a first come, first served basis.
The Salvation Army needs your help! Our generous donors provided Christmas for 314 families in last year's Adopt-A-Family program. This year, we expect that number to grow to more than 350 families, making the need for giving partners greater than ever.
If your company, church group, sports team, co-workers, etc. would like to help provide Christmas for a family who desperately needs it, please complete the downloadable form at the bottom of this page and return it as soon as possible. The more donors we have, the more families we can help!
Hope's Pantry—Christmas Food Drive
You can provide 'hope for the hungry!' By organizing a food drive with your co-workers, church group, teammates, PTA moms, or any other group, you will be helping The Salvation Army in taking a stand against hunger. For more information, including how to register, please see the downloadable file at the bottom of this page.
We receive many calls each day. Please see the list below and call the appropriate number for your specific needs. This will alleviate your frustration at being transferred or given different numbers to call.
