The Art of Elderhood Exhibit Opens September 5th
The Salvation Army Serendipity Adult Day Services program is pleased to announce the artwork of its guests will be displayed during the month of September at the L'Aroma Bakery & Deli located at 9900 Old Seward Hwy. The exhibit will officially open on Saturday morning, September 5th, as part of L'Aroma's "First Saturday" event. All artwork on display will be available for sale, with proceeds to support Serendipity's program.
The month of September is designated as National Adult Day Services Month. To help educate Alaskans about these unique programs, the Alaska Adult Day Services Association is encouraging all member adult day services to showcase Elder art created by Adult Day participants in the various Alaskan communities. This year's theme is "Enriching Lives Through Wellness and Creativity."

The Salvation Army Serendipity Adult Day Center is a program that offers adults with special needs the opportunity to use their skills in meaningful occupations throughout the day.
Our day program hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Guests may chose their own schedule of attendance with our Care Manager.
Serendipity's staff of professionals respect our guests age, beliefs, culture, values and life experiences while encouraging meaningful interaction.
