The Salvation Army Cares for Kids provides safe haven for children ages 0-11, who have been removed from their home environment when there is a concern for their safety or welfare. The Office Of Children Services and Anchorage Police Department rely on The Salvation Army – Cares for Kids to assess and stabilize children who come from unhealthy and often tragic situations.
In this safe environment children are cared for by loving staff, participate in fun and educational activities and recreation, and enjoy nutritious meals and snacks.
