The Salvation Army is a Christian Church. We are so well known for providing social services that our spiritual services often escape attention. Yet the primary mission of The Salvation Army is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to people of all ages, backgrounds and beliefs while providing practical social services to our communities.
Each Sunday, in 16 communities across the state, church services are held through out Alaska . Each service uses a variety of ways to communicate God’s message through music, personal experiences, drama and the Bible in a way that is relevant to their community.
