The Medford Social Service office provide a variety of emergency services to assist the economically disadvantaged. Services provided include food, rent/housing, clothing, furnishings, prescription/health, utility bill assistance, gasoline/transportation and holiday food/gifts.

The HOPE House Transitional Shelter provides homeless individuals/families with the opportunity and means to restore their lives. Staff work with each client to develop a self-sufficiency plan that addresses health problems, engages clients in alcohol and/or drug treatment, requires that individuals secure full-time employment and assists them in their individualized self-improvement programs.
