Angel Giving Trees

Angel Tree was created by The Salvation Army in 1979 by Majors Charles & Shirley White when working with a Lynchburg, Virginia shopping mall to provide clothing and toys for children at Christmas. In the here and now, caring companies and organizations host a tree and employees get to be angels and make a child's Christmas brighter.
Visit any of the following Portland metro Angel Giving Tree locations between November 27- December 11 to shop for a needy child or Senior Citizen this Christmas or click the link to donate.
- Lloyd Center - 2201 Lloyd Center, Portland, OR 97232
- Washington Square Mall - Hwy. 217/Greenburg, Hall and Scholls Ferry Exits
- Eastport Plaza - 400 SE 82nd Ave., Portland, OR 97266
Each Christmas, thousands of low-income families receive food, toys and other help from The Salvation Army. Families who qualify for assistance receive at least two age-appropriate toys per child. Last Christmas, The Salvation Army distributed over 12,500 toys to less fortunate children in the Portland metro area. Not only does the Angel Trees benefit youth and children, but tags can also be picked up for Senior Citizens.
During the holiday season, you can help those who need it most in our community by visiting a Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree and purchasing a gift for a child, teen or a Senior Citizen. Your donation will make a real difference for someone in need this Christmas.
