The Salvation Army in Gresham to Recognize Community and Corporate Partners and Volunteers in Community Lunch
|(Gresham, OR) - Without the help of volunteers and partner organizations, The Salvation Army would not be able to serve the millions of people it does worldwide. In acknowledgement of all of the work local individuals and companies have done, The Salvation Army Gresham Corps & Community Center is inviting friends who have supported them to “Hearts in Motion: a Community Recognition Lunch” on Tuesday, March 13th, 2012 at 11:30am. The lunch will be held at the Gresham Corps located at 473 SE 194th Ave. Portland, OR 97233 (on the corner of Stark & SE 194th).|
Over the years, The Salvation Army has built close working relationships with local organizations and individuals who have generously given of their time and resources, helping build a facility better equipped to serve the Rockwood community. Thanks to their dedication to the programs at the Gresham Corps, educational and social services continue to expand and impact the children and families who may otherwise have nowhere else to turn. Awards will be presented to Outstanding Volunteers and partners who are truly “Doing the Most Good.”
You have the opportunity to help sponsor this event recognizing the Gresham community and its involvement at The Salvation Army. There are 3 sponsorship levels at $100, $250, and $500.
