The "The Biddy at The Sal" Basketball Program Will Be a Slam-Dunk with Your Kids

(Portland, OR) - Make a slam-dunk with your kids and sign them up today for “Biddy at The Sal,” a youth basketball program at The Salvation Army’s Moore Street Community & Worship Center! This year, the kids will be coached by Earl Chaney, a North Portland favorite! It costs just $95 per child and includes 8 weeks of basketball education, 1 hour of practice per week, 1 game per weekend, a t-shirt, snacks, and a certificate. Some scholarships are available at a discounted price. Practice starts April 2nd and will run until June 2nd, 2012. Children ages 4 -14 are invited to come play.

Don’t wait to sign up your child – practice starts in just a few weeks! Contact The Salvation Army Moore Street Community & Worship Center at 503.493.3925 or for more information on registering your child.

You can get active, too, by volunteering with the program. “Biddy at The Sal” is looking for people to coach, assistant coach, take pictures and video, work the snack bar, help with set-up, help with tear-down, and help with the awards ceremony.
