PG&E Assistance (REACH)
The Salvation Army's REACH program is a partnership between The Salvation Army and PG&E. Funding for this program comes directly from PG&E Customers, therfore the guidlines are set by PG&E.
The REACH Program is designed to help pay PG&E bills, when a household falls behind due to an energy emergency. An energy emergency is defined as an unplanned for financial expense that occured within the last 60 days, ie: car repairs, medical expenses, etc.
Please bring the following items:
Salvation Army Application - May be completed at Salvation Army
PG&E 15-Day or 48-Hour Notice - If Service is shut off please provide an Account Printout from PG&EFor all adults
California ID Card or Driver License -For all adults
Social Security Card -
For everyone in the household
Current Income Verification - Dated within the last 30 daysOccurring in the last 60 days that caused you to fall behind such as medical bills, loss of hours, etc.
Rental or Mortgage Agreement
Proof of Energy Emergency - Occurring in the last 60 days that caused you to fall behind such as medical bills, loss of hours, etc.
