You are in: Latest News » Food Shortage in Roseville...
Released 28 October 2009
The Salvation Army of Roseville is reporting a food shortage due to the increased number of families seeking assistance. Roseville's community center provides emergency food boxes stocked with enough food to feed a family of four for a week.

In the wake of the current economic downturn, demand for assistance has increased exponentially. The Salvation Army is seeking the public's help to restock their food pantry or they fear they'll have to turn starving families away. During the month of September, The Salvation Army of Roseville provided nearly 350 food boxes to families in need throughout South Placer County, a 60% increase compared to this same time last year.
