The Salvation Army's Emergency Disaster Response Team from the Yuba-Sutter location served warm meals provided by Kentucky Fried Chicken in Yuba City and cold beverages to first responders, firefighters, volunteers and fire survivors.

The EDS Team served at the fire's staging area at the Dobbins Fire Station and remained on-scene until every individual chicken dinner was served to the hardworking firefighters and first responders who needed to be fed.
Crews remained on stand-by throughout the night and served continuously until the fire reached further containment.
In all, the Team served 420 meals, 450+ cold drinks and 120 snacks to the crews.
