150 Hawaii Kids Awarded Back-to-School Shopping Spree from Target and The Salvation Army
 150 students in Hawaii had the opportunity to go on a back-to-school shopping spree courtesy of Target and The Salvation Army. Students from O'ahu and the Big Island were selected by The Salvation Army as they stocked up on calculators, backpacks, pens and pencils, art supplies, binders, clothing and other must-haves just in time for back-to-school.

The Salvation Army Celebrates Koloa Plantation Days Festival in Kaua'i

A Salvation Army soldier proudly holds The Salvation Army flag at the start of the Koloa Plantation Days festival parade held in Koloa, Kaua'i. The annual event commemorates the contribution of the diverse and multi-ethnic population of the island who worked in the plantation fields during the early 1900s. The Salvation Army has a presence on Kaua'i, helping many communities for more than a hundred years.

Summer Camp Beckons Hundres of Kids to Salvation Army's Camp Homelani this Summer
The Salvation Army Camp Homelani on the North Shore of O'ahu welcomes hundreds of kids to enjoy beach activities, arts and crafts, team sports, campfire programs, Club Bible times and other exciting activities during the months of summer. The youth camping program of The Salvation Army provides kids, especially underprivileged kids, the opportunity to have a life-changing experience. Scholarships are available to families who could not afford to send their children to camp through donations from our generous donors who care about nurturing kids at an early age.
