The Salvation Army's Adult Day Health Services and Ohana Keiki Preschool were recently honored by the Hawaii House of Representative for more than 25 years of service in the community.
State Senator Suzanne Chun-Oakland and House Representative John Mizuno were on hand to commend The Salvation Army for its steadfast commitment to provide appropriate services to the elderly and those with developmental abilities, as well as quality care of Hawaii's children.
Also honored by the legislators were three staff members for their years of dedicated service, namely: Fritizi Firme, 17 years as certified nurse at the adult day care; Beatrice Orion, 25 years as a teacher; and Nishat Kazi, 26 years as a teacher at the preschool.
