PROGRAM ASSISTANT FOR YOUTH PROGRAMS - Hanapepe, Kauai
Job Summary: To assist the Corps Officer with Corps Programs with main emphasis on Youth Spiritual, Social and Educational development.
Essential Functions
- Work with Youth Spiritual, Social and Educational development
- Assist Corps Officer with Office work and Corps Programs
- Monitor Weekly Corps programs and report concerns to Corps Officer
- Serve as a driver when needed
- Implement youth activities, outreach, service and curriculum
- Monitor youth to ensure spiritual, social and educational growth.
- Coordinate Volunteers to ensure good programs and compliance with Policy and Procedures
- Train Youth with Corps Responsibilities, prepare youth for Sunday School and Corps participation
- Prepare weekly Junior Church lesson
- Educate and recruit youth for Junior Soldiership
- Recruit youth for Divisional Events
- Plan and Implement youth fundraising with Youth
- Report weekly statistics in regards to youth activities
Seasonal Related Work
- Recruit youth for summer camps, start in March
- Prepare and process all paper work for Camp. Use guidelines set by Camp Homelani.
- Assist parents to make sure that all forms are properly filled and signed by all parties concerned.
- Inform all Parents and campers on dates of travel and give proper instructions.
- Conduct VBS preferably during Spring Break or before Community Service camp deadline
- Conduct summer activities for children during summer months.
- Assist with Thanksgiving and Christmas Campaign; such as Thanksgiving feeding, Angel Tree, Christmas Distribution, Special Christmas performance.
This position requires talking to youth, parents, citizens; requires written communication to and from youth, parents, citizens; talking on telephone; requires responding to written and verbal requests of youth, parents, citizens; requires training/giving verbal and written instructions; requires writing/composing written language; requires reading; requires visiting; working at other worksites; requires communication via the latest technologies.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT, A/P (Administration) - Honolulu
P/T, Accounting Assistant is responsible for posting and maintaining a variety of account records relating to the Agency's business transactions. Requires Business School curriculum with two years experience in accounting or related field. A valid Hawaii state driver's license is required.
MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST (Family Recovery Program) - Honolulu
The Marriage & Family Therapist provides counseling to couples and families in early recovery with an emphasis on behavioral couples therapy. Master's degree in marriage and family therapy or a related field. Experience working with persons in substance abuse treatment and early recovery. Valid Hawaii state driver's license and personal vehicle required.
