Mission Statement for the Pomona Corps
As soldiers of The Salvation Army we will always be faithful to the doctrines of God's given Church to us as members of The Salvation Army;
As members of the priesthood of all believers we will build up Soldiers of Christ who will be set apart and will live out their faith in accordance to the Holiness of God;
As a redeemed people we will work to develop Christians who will come to know their Faithful Heavenly Father through the diligent study of His Word and through the development of an intimate prayer life;
As true followers of Christ we will grow saints through Christian discipleship;
As authentic children of God we will instill the purposes and will of God upon believers through the courageous preaching of God's inspired word;
As imitators of the our Lord Jesus Christ we will produce faithful and confident Christians who will willingly go out and spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ;
As a part of the body of Christ we will cultivate believers who will with urgency of heart demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit's fire with great conviction in their lives.
