The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
From November 17 till December 24, 2008 we will be operating our RED KETTLE Fundraising event. Our Goals this year is to raise $80,000 dollars to help every one we can meet their most basic needs. Please donate on our kettles when you walk by them. Give of your time and volunteer to stand at a kettle.
If you are not able to give of your time or just happen not to have any money with you when you walk by our kettles you may donate on our new safe and secure On-line Kettle. On Wednesday November 26 at 5 PM we will host our 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner. Call us for more information. We like to thank all of our friends for their support, including the Cal Poly Kellogg West Conferecne Center under the leadership of Chef Joseph who graciously prepared our enitre meal this year for free. Enough food for 600 people. THANK YOU!

On September 28 and October 26, 2008 our church will be involved in an unconventional evangelism effort. We will take all of our members out "fishing" on those dates to spread the word of Jesus in our neighborhood between 10 and 12 PM. Please join us in this effort of sharing God's hope with our City. If you cannot come then pray for our efforts that God will prepare the hearts of those we will visit to hear and accept His word. See you then!

We need your help and support.
Our next project is to send 70 kids to our summer camps in the Malibu Mountains. (See the camp schedule here) The Salvation Army offers weekly camps there all summer long that help kids experience the outdoors and build up their characters. The cost is minimal per child but we need your help. For only $330 you can send one child to camp for a week of fun and enjoyment. We will soon begin a fundraising campaign with local companies to seek their support. But you can help today by contacting our office and making a donation.
