Mission Statement: The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its message is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Clothing: We write vouchers for our Thrift Store so people in need can get 2 complete changes of clothing, including shoes. We assist with household items such as utensils, towels, blankets, and furniture only in an emergency (such as house fire, flood).

Enrichment: We have Summer Camp for children during the summer months at Camp Ponderosa Ranch in Heber Arizona. Sign up begins in May, 2006. Contact our offices for details.

Finance: We assist with utilities through the SHARE program from our offices in Prescott and Prescott Valley (call for guidelines). Limited prescription help is available for medications such as heart pills, high blood pressure medication, insulin, (no pain killers/muscle relaxers).

Food: Daily Monday through Friday breakfast at 8:00 A.M. and lunch at noon. Saturday dinner at 2:00 P.M. by Feed the Hungry groups. Food boxes are available on an emergency basis.

Health: A doctor is available at no cost every Monday morning. Doctor sees clients on a first-come first-served basis. Please arrive no later than 8:00 A.M. We also barbers who come in every other Monday at 10 A.M. - Noon. In addition, showers are also available from 9 to 11 A.M., Monday through Friday.

Shelter: Shelter on an emergency basis. We use local motels when available for families with children. For single men and/or women we refer to shelters in the area.

Multi-Media Classroom: We have a new classroom with twelve brand new computer workstations. We have classes Monday through Saturday, and the classroom is open from 8:00 AM to noon. We focus on job skills and basic computer training.
