Corps Community Center
Community Care: Open to anyone 14 and over who can make a two (2) hour monthly commitment to The Salvation Army. Visiting nursing homes and homebound seniors.
Corps Elves: Open to anyone 14 and over who can make a two (2) hour weekly commitment to The Salvation Army. Tasks include gardening, painting, answering the phones.
 Holiday Helpers: Open to anyone 14 and over who would like to assist with the Thanksgiving/Christmas Holiday Food and Toy collection and distribution. Volunteers needed October – December.
Red Kettle Bell Ringers: Open to individuals 18 and over and groups 14 and over. Volunteers needed for ½ and full day assignments ringing bells and staffing our red donation kettles. From the Friday after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve.
Hospitality House
Emergency Shelter Assistants: Open to anyone 18 and over who can make a two (2) to eight (8) hour weekly commitment to The Salvation Army to assist with the overnight emergency shelter program.
Bag Ladies & Gentlemen: Open to anyone 18 and over who can make a two (2) hour weekly commitment between 8-10am to help prepare 85 sack lunches which are distributed daily to the homeless.
The Computer Center: Open to anyone 18 and over who can make a two (2) hour weekly commitment to The Salvation Army and has intermediate to advanced computer knowledge to assist residents with basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email and web searching.
Holiday Meal Aid: Several times a year, on major holidays, the dining room at The Hospitality House is open to anyone in need of a hot meal. Volunteers 14 and over are needed to help with food preparation, serving and clean-up. These are one day 2-4 hour commitments. Groups are welcome.
Highs school students and others needing to fulfill community service requirements are welcome to volunteer at the Corps Community Center and Hospitality House.
Kingdom Kids Childcare Center
Please Note: All volunteers in the Childcare Center must submit to a background criminal check, and will participate in Safe From Harm, The Salvation Army’s child abuse prevention training.
Grandpals: Open to anyone 50 and over who can make a two (2) hour weekly commitment to The Salvation Army to serve as a classroom assistant, mentor or tutor in our preschool and after-school programs.
 Interns: Open to students 18 years and over who are interested in pursuing a career in education. Course credits and work study funding may be available.
Music Teachers: Open to anyone 18 and over who can make a two (2) hour weekly commitment to The Salvation Army and who has a background in piano, singing, brass instruments or drums. Provide weekly music lessons to children enrolled in The Salvation Army youth programs. Work study funding may be available for college students.For more information: Contact Capt.
