ARC Qualification For Admittance



The qualification for admittance:
Must have face-to-face pre-screening interview and assessment prior to admission
Have 3 to 5 days sobriety and pass a pre-entry urinalysis screening
Must be a male between the ages of 18-60 and have a picture identification (driver’s license or state I.D. card) and Social Security Card
Are physically able to perform in the work therapy program
New residents are placed on a 30-day restriction and may not leave the premises for any outside appointment or court appearance during his restriction period
New residents at admittance must enter with only the clothes they are wearing. New residents are not to bring additional clothing or personal effects into the ARC and should be given, prior to admittance, to a family member or friend. The Santa Monica ARC does not store personal belongings. The Santa Monica ARC provides all residents with a complete and stylish wardrobe, which may be taken home after completing the six-month program.
Residents cannot receive any type of governmental financial assistance (GR, SSI, SDI, Unemployment) while in the six-month program
