With toy shovels and Tonka trucks, three homeless children broke ground for 24 new apartments The Salvation Army is building for homeless mothers with children. Channel 10's Carol LeBeau hosted the ceremony, joined by Azteca America's Paola Hernandez and SanDiego6's Heather Myers. Major Mike Dickinson, Capital Campaign Chair Jim Fitzpatrick participated along with mothers with children who live in The Door of Hope Transitional Living Center.
