The Salvation Army Senior & Social Center
The mission of the centers is to promote spiritual, physical, emotional and social well-being of seniors and to involve them in all aspects of community life. The gift of longer life means more time to travel, learn, try out new careers and give something back to the community. Living longer can sometimes lead to greater need and vulnerability in later years. The centers are a valuable resource to access and address all of these issues.

Someone's parent.

Someone's neighbor.

Someone's grandmother.

Someone's former teacher.

You.

The Salvation Army respects and appreciates senior citizens.

The Army of Compassion reaches out to help keep seniors healthy, active, and fulfilled.

Our senior programs include nutritious meals at our nine Senior Dining & Social Centers, home delivery in several parts of town, activities from dancing to bingo, fellowship, and much, much more.

During the summer, all of our Senior Dining & Social Centers are designated Cool Zones. . .
places neighbors can come to stay cool on those hot summer days. Hanging out at a Cool Zone is a smart way to save on home utility bills as well as a great place to socialilze and have a delicious, nutritious noon meal. There is no charge for the meals, but a donation of up to $3.00 is suggested.

Come. Partake. Join our fellowship!
