Food Distribution

For Individuals residing in Riverside, Glen Avon, Jurupa, Mira Loma, Pedley, & Rubidoux.

Please call (951) 784-3571 Ext. 109 to find out what you need to bring with you.

Food is distributed on Tuesdays and Fridays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

You can come on any of these days, once a month, after you have pre-registered. Residents of 92501 & 92506 will also receive government food commodities.

City of Riverside:
HEAP is a federally funded program that helps low-income households pay their energy bill. Eligibility is based on the household's total monthly income, which cannot exceed the HEAP income guidelines (http://www.csd.ca.gov/documents/incometable.pdf).

Qualifying customers may receive assistance of $150 toward their electric utility bill.

Assistance funds will be applied directly to the customer's residential electric account.

Assistance will be available on a one-time basis per qualified electric customer during a 12 month period and only if the customer has not applied for and received such assistance within 12 months of the date of the new application.

Rent Assistance

With the high costs of rent in Southern California families can quickly get into trouble.

We are currently looking for funding for this program. Please contact us if you would be interested in helping to fund the Rent Assistance Program.

This program helps those that are temporarily unable to pay their rent and are no more than one month behind. Typically this inability to pay their rent is because of extenuating circumstances out of their control.
