Utility Assistance
At different times through out the year Southern California Edison and So Cal Gas provide utility assistance through The Salvation Army. (951) 784-3571 Ext. 109
City of Riverside: HEAP is a federally funded program that helps low-income households pay their energy bill. Eligibility is based on the household's total monthly income, which cannot exceed the HEAP income guidelines (http://www.csd.ca.gov/documents/incometable.pdf).

Qualifying customers may receive assistance of $150 toward their electric utility bill.
Assistance funds will be applied directly to the customer's residential electric account.
Assistance will be available on a one-time basis per qualified electric customer during a 12 month period and only if the customer has not applied for and received such assistance within 12 months of the date of the new application.
