This Christmas, you have a couple of opportunities to support The Salvation Army while engaging in your normal holiday routine.
Wal-Mart is marketing ceramic models, the proceeds of which benefit The Salvation Army. One model is of a Wal-Mart store with a Salvation Army kettle and bellringer in front. The other model is a group of Salvation Army carolers around a kettle. The store model is $12 and the carolers are $5. The Salvation Army will receive a royalty on gross sales which will be distributed among the four territories in the United States.
Additionally, Hallmark Business Expressions is offering customized Christmas Cards. Purchase cards through the Hallmark website and The Salvation Army will receive 20% of the net proceeds.
