A Message from Captains John & Candy Stennett

Welcome to The Salvation Army's website for the Treasure Valley. The Salvation Army has been in the Valley since 1887, three years before Idaho became a state, and has been caring for the people of our community ever since by bringing hope and stability to thousands upon thousands of families.
As the Valley continues to grow, so does The Salvation Army's commitment to care for those in need. The Salvation Army is uniquely positioned to create new programs and continue to tailor existing programs so that they match the needs of the community. I invite you to explore this website to see what The Army is doing and how you can become involved.
Sincerely,
Capt. John Stennett
Boise Corps Officer & Treasure Valley Coordinator
Welcome to the home page for The Salvation Army of the Treasure Valley in Idaho. Our service area includes Boise, Caldwell and Nampa, as well as outlying locations in Ada and Canyon Counties.
We Exceeded Our 2011 Red Kettle Goal!
Thank you, Ada County!
Our warmest thanks to you—our donors, volunteers, local businesses, and staff—for making this our best Christmas giving season ever! Through events like Stuff the Bus, 7 Cares Day, Toy N Joy, Angel Trees and many other extraordinary happenings, you made it possible for us to provide the following to families in need:
- 12,000 toys to 3,978 children
- More than 80,000 pounds of food
Further, you helped us surpass last year's red kettle donations by a whopping 26 percent.
Thank you for your care and compassion. Truly, you are making a difference in our community!
Warmest regards,
Captain John Stennett
Boise Corps Officer & Treasure Valley Coordinator
