Project Share is a community service administrated by The Salvation Army to help individuals and families heat their homes and pay energy bills. Those assisted by the program receive grants to help them overcome their financial difficulties. Idaho Power started Project Share in 1982 and has actively supported it for over two decades. Together with Intermountain Natural Gas and customers who donate to Project Share, over 175,000 individuals have been helped. Project Share grants can be used to fix furnaces, buy firewood, propane or coal, or to pay an existing utility bill.
